A:An FLA file is the raw editible file in Flash design.

This activity would help us as an HTML programmer to see the small differences in the codes.

Yes these differences pop out once they have been pointed out to me.

This actvity (finding six differences) would help me as an HTML programmer becuase it makes me look closer for the details which is very useful in HTML that way we see the little mistakes or perhaps just make things better.

I discovered 6 differences in the pictures.

Yes once the differences were pointed out, they were much more noticeable.

In order to write better codes, we should really look out for the differences sometimes their hidden and camouflaged between all those letters and signs. Just as we did in this activity.

Art Institute Presentation

On December 4, 2009 came a young man from the Art Institute to present all of the careers and courses offered by that college. Many of the things he showed us were very intresting such as the video animations or the web creations by different students. I thought that Gabriel Flores resume was amazing!! Who wouldn't like to have a resume as a video instead of that boring sheet of paper with letters. The work he presented was amazing and the students truely have great potential and talent. I am glad he visited our second period!

Beautiful Disaster

“AHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!” This was a cry of distress from a beautiful young girl who woke up being a mutant. Her name was Shawna and she was one of the prettiest girls in her small town. She always won any pageant she entered in or any kind of beauty contest. Of course all the boys were crazy for this young little lady, she had long blonde hair, soft clear skin, bright green eyes, and a sweet little voice. Oh but this girl was anything but sweet! She bossed around anyone in front of her and persuaded all the guys to do her deeds; she never moved a finger for anything she had to do. All the girls envied her because all the guys they liked were under her spell so no other girl existed in their eyes. She made everyone else feel inferior to her so no one dare step up for themselves when she said they weren’t; but Shawna’s beauty streak was about to run out. Shawna had grown up in a small town, so her small town had what most little towns did, for instance witches. One normal afternoon Shawna decided to go out for a stroll and wanted to woo any guys who appeared in front of her so they could tell her how pretty she was, she loved being admired. Except that for this day she didn’t meet up with any guys along the way, instead she met up with a witch. She was a little old lady who asked Shawna if she could help her take up the rest of her logs she needed to keep the fire burning for food she was cooking. The poor little old lady had taken most of the logs up already and had to many blisters to take the last 3, so she asked Shawna to please help her with the remaining logs. Shawna looked at her astonished, and told her

“Silly old lady! Don’t you know who I am? I could very well break my nail by picking up these filthy logs, then how do you expect me to win my next pageant?”

The little old lady looked at her with anger and said,

“You pretty girls think that just because you have colored eyes and clear skin you can get away with anything but once I get done with you, you won’t even be able to look at your own reflection in the mere lake!”

“Pssh, whatever! Like that will ever happen”, said Shawna. She kept walking and forgot about the incident with the old lady, she just thought it was another jealous person who envied her beauty. Along the way back she saw two gentlemen who complimented her so everything ended up like a normal evening. When Shawna was going to sleep and combing her long blonde hair she looked in the mirror and remembered what the old lady had said and saw her amazing beauty and laughed thinking about not being able to stand her reflection and went to sleep. The next morning she woke up and looked in the mirror and..
“AHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!”

Shawna had turned into an ugly beast with snake beady eyes, furry skin, and hideous bat ears. The only slight beauty left on her was the beautiful colors of the peacock feathers she now had . Everything had transformed, from her hair color to her soft skin. Nothing the same, nothing beautiful. Her hair was now a dark brown color; her eyes were now creepy snake eyes, her skin now fur, her ears were no longer small and cute but ugly and huge. Her beauty had vanished from day to night, literally. Shawna was devastated; she decided to make up a rumor she had died in an accident. She changed her name, she was now Kasandra-Emely the two ugliest names known to her. The little town mourned for her, but Kasandra-Emely was the most impacted of all. She moved into a cave and never came out, no one has heard from her sense but they say they can hear someone cry from deep inside a cave right outside the little town. I believe that’s Kansandra-Emely crying for her long lost beauty.

This project is a fun way to create a mutant version of ourselves. It's a creative way to play with photoshop and make a supernatural form of me!

"Emerging Technologies"

In a relatively short period of time, our world has changed dramatically because of the creation in 1969 of a small computer network known as ARPANET.

Web sites have evolved over time. First generation sites were static—no interactivity. They included basic structures. Second generation sites included intuitive, user-friendly navigation systems, focused on the content, and animation—blinking text, moving banners, animated images, etc. Since businesses were now online, there was much more interaction than with first generation sites. Third generation sites addressed their audiences based on their objectives, which drove the design and structure. Splash pages were popular, as was the use of cascading style sheets, portals, and forms. These sites focused on content and were easily navigated. Fourth generation sites are participatory and highly interactive. They provide richer experiences for their users. Site designers take full advantage of the new tools of Web 2.0. They frequently include wikis, blogs, podcasts, webcasts, and Web services. Standards are being developed for mobile users of the Web to make their online experience productive and efficient.

E-commerce has exploded because of the popularity of the World Wide Web and the new technologies that have been developed. An example of a new technology the we are using in our classroom is using a BLOG to form journal entries.
